Parents wishing to have their child baptised are asked to make an appointment to see the priest at the Parish. If
you are residing outside the Parish of St. Anne Church and do not attend Mass at the church you will be asked to
contact your Parish Priest to request permission for your child's baptism to be celebrated at St. Anne Church,
At an initial meeting, the meaning and purpose of Baptism will be looked at. You are asked not to choose godparents until you
have met with the Parish Priest. The preparation will continue over a few sessions, during this time a date for your child's baptism
will be fixed.
RECONCILIATION & FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

The Bishop will be coming on Monday 20th November at 6.30pm to celebrate the sacrament of confirmation. This important sacrament is the completion of our baptism and important source of grace for living the Christian life. Any child or adult over the age of 10 who has not yet been confirmed is eligible to receive this sacrament this November in our parish. Please let Fr Millar know by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you or your child wish to be confirmed this autumn. Classes will begin in late September.
If you are planning to marry in the Catholic Church, speak to the Parish Priest before making any
arrangements regarding date or venue. A minimum of six months notice of an intended marriage
is required. Once it is established that both parties are free to marry in the Catholic Church, the
preparation can begin.
Planning a funeral after a loved one passes away can be very hard. There are so many things to think
about and so much to organise. If you would like to have the service held at St. Anne, please contact the
Parish Priest on Tel. 01772 962776 or email email@example.com.
