All I ask of you is that,
wherever you may be,
you should remember me
at the altar of the Lord
Our new Parish Priest is Rev Fr Mathew Pinakkattu. He is a priest of the Syro Malabar community, but he will be celebrating Mass for us in the Latin rite, same as we have now. After completing his degree in Philosophy at the seminary in Kerala, he was sent to Rome for study to the Bachelor of Theology, then continued his studies to become a Canon Lawyer. He was appointed Chancellor of eparchy (diocese) based in Preston in 2016. He joined us on the 9th December.

It is with sadness that we say goodbye to David & Jackie Clark in the choir. They have served the church well for many years and we will be very sad to see them go. Thank you for all the music you have brought into our lives.
We still have a small but enthusiastic group of choristers and a violinist, theyare invited to sing at weddings, funerals and special occasions as well as weekly Mass. Our Choir is always looking for new members, both men & ladies, to join them. If you areinterested in joining, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or see Cath after Mass on Sunday.

Reverend Father Kevin A Lowry
A beautiful service was celebrated by Bishop Michael at St Joseph’s, Ansdell on Wednesday for Father Kevin. 64 priests and around 650 people from all walks of his life came to pay their last respects to a great, giving man. His sister Anne spoke about how she and the family were overwhelmed with the cards and messages of sympathy they have had over the last few weeks. Afterwards we congregated at the Rugby Club to remember a true friend and confidant
